Lauren & Brett's ceremony and reception took place at the Addison Oaks Buhl Estate. This is one of our favorite venues. The staff is so kind and helpful, the grounds are stunning and well maintained. We were all nervous the week leading up to the wedding. The weather in Michigan had not been kind to our clients the past few Saturdays. But her day was literally the perfect day. The weather was beautiful. This allowed Lauren to have her ceremony outside. We attached a garland to the pergola and attached a variety of blooms on site. The bridesmaids were in light green dresses so we used blush flowers to really pop. For the mothers and one of the grandmothers we did sweet little nosegay bouquets which are a nice alternative to a traditional corsage. All of the boutonnieres for the bridal party and family consisted of eucalyptus and lisianthus. Garland: Seeded & Silver Dollar Eucalyptus Garland. Blush lisianthus, dahlias, carnations, stock, babies breath and roses were attached in the garland. Bridal Bouquet: A variety of eucalyptus, white ranunculus, white lisianthus, hypericum berries, stock and dusty miller. Bridesmaids Bouquets: Eucalyptus, blush lisianthus, babies breath and pink Mondial roses. Grandmother Nosegay Bouquet: Babies breath, eucalyptus, stock, spray roses and blush lisianthus. Mother of the Bride Nosegay Bouquet: Babies breath, eucalyptus, hypericum berries, stock and spray roses. Mother of the Groom Nosegay Bouquet: Babies breath, eucalyptus, stock and spray roses. Groom Boutonniere: Eucalyptus, Lisianthus and spray roses. Other Boutonnieres: Blush lisianthus and eucalyptus. For Lauren & Brett's reception which was also located at the Addison Oaks Buhl Estate we did three different centerpiece looks for the guest tables. The first look was a wood box with florals, the second look was a floating candle grouping and the third look was a grouping of glass bottles with flowers. Wood Box Centerpieces: White poms, blush lisianthus, pink Mondial roses, babies breath, hydrangeas, blush stock, olive branch and eucalyptus. Rose gold mercury glass candles were placed around the wood box floral arrangement. Floating Candle Centerpieces: A grouping of three glass cylinder vases with floating candles was placed on a wood slab. We hand placed fern and eucalyptus around the base. Pink Mondial roses were also tucked in around the base of the cylinders. Glass Bottle Centerpieces: We used assorted glass bottles in groupings of five. The flowers were arranged in each of the bottles. Flowers included babies breath, eucalyptus, polo roses, pink Mondial roses, spray roses, lisianthus and stock. Rose gold mercury glass candles were also placed with the glass bottles. Finally another one of our 2020 brides was able to have her reception! Due to COVID our bride Victoria and groom Zackary had to postpone their wedding at home in Bay City, Mi. The plan was to have a beautiful ceremony and reception at a relatives private property. Well mother nature had a different plan. Victoria and Zackary had to find a place the night before the wedding. We all improvised and things came together beautifully. Victoria loved the colorful wildflower look and we had so much fun putting together her bouquet and centerpieces. Bridal Bouquet: Ming and Sword Fern, Free Spirit Roses, Snapdragons, Daisies, Ranunculus, Irises, Delphinium, Butterfly Bush, Cornflowers, Asters, Lavender, Billy Balls and Thistle. Centerpieces: The bride selected beautiful farmhouse style tables with colored drinking glasses. We added glass bottles with beautiful blooms arranged. Blooms included but were not limited to Delphinium, Lavender, Ferns, Babies Breath, Ranunculus, Lavender and Cornflowers. We laid hand placed Italian Ruscus down the center of the tables with the glass bottle floral arrangements. Due to a last minute venue switch the bride had to include a couple round tables. The glass bottles worked on these tables grouped in the center with Italian Ruscus around the base. Professional Photos: G.B. Photography For Victorias wedding we used some fun blooms which are posted below. Our floral wholesale is Mayesh Detroit. We also received some blooms from a local grower and friend at Le Fleur Decor in Metamora, Mi. |
